Look inside the books
Real pages from each book — tap one to read it larger.
From the book: When Surya the Sun God falls into a deep sleep, his father Sage Kashyapa rushes to Suryalok — and in his grief shouts a curse that leaves the whole universe pin-drop silent.
From the book: The spark born of Shiva and Parvati's yogic energy is too hot for any realm — so Agni, the god of fire, passes it to Mother Ganga, who carries it to the reed-lake of Saravana.
From the book: ‘Did the devas send a woman to face my mighty army?’ laughs Mahishasura — and Katyayani answers, ‘A mother will always rise to protect the innocent.’

What's in the set
Three 8.5 × 8.5 in paperback books kids Ages 4–10 can hold, read and reread.
Kushmanda
The Creator of the UniverseWhen the mighty Sun falls unconscious, the universe is plunged into cold, endless darkness. With chaos spreading across the cosmos, Goddess Parvati steps forward, conjuring a blazing sphere of golden light—revealing a radiant form powerful enough to bring warmth back to the world.
Skandamata
The Mother of Lord SkandaWhile the universe desperately cries out for a savior and the gods await their commander, the infant war-god Kartikeya must first be nurtured by the Supreme Mother. Cradling the fate of the cosmos in her lap, she seamlessly blends infinite maternal tenderness with unyielding power.
Katyayani
The Warrior GoddessForged from the collective fury of the gods and armed with the greatest weapons of the cosmos, a radiant champion rides into the fray upon a majestic lion. The arrogant Mahishasura believes himself invincible, but he has never faced the universe-shattering wrath of a Mother.

Questions parents ask
What's included in Books 4–6?
Three paperbacks in English — Books 4–6 of The Navadurga Series: Kushmanda: The Creator of the Universe (Book 4), Skandamata: The Mother of Lord Skanda (Book 5) and Katyayani: The Warrior Goddess (Book 6). Beautiful full-colour storybooks for kids Ages 4–10, each 8.5 × 8.5 in (square).
Do we need Books 1–3 first?
No — each book tells one goddess's story from start to finish, so Books 4–6 can be read on their own. Read in order, the series follows the Goddess's journey from Book 1, so if you're starting fresh, take both sets.
How much do I save?
The set is ₹500 — that's ₹160 off the usual ₹660 for the three books (₹220 each). And if you add the three books one at a time instead, the same discount is applied automatically at checkout. Taking both sets? All 6 books are ₹1000 (save ₹320).
Is it safe to pay on this website?
Yes. Payments are handled by Razorpay, one of India's most widely used payment gateways (PCI-DSS compliant). You pay by UPI, card or netbanking on Razorpay's secure screen — your payment details go straight to Razorpay and never reach us. Your order confirmation arrives by email right after payment.
Is delivery free?
Yes — delivery is free anywhere in India, on every order. Orders are dispatched within 1 day and you get courier tracking updates. India only.
What if a book arrives damaged?
Email us a photo within 7 days of delivery and we send a free replacement or refund the full amount.
Can I send the set as a gift?
Yes — tick “This is a gift” at checkout and add a short message for the card. Delivery is free to any address in India.
Will there be more books?
Yes — The Navadurga Series has nine books in all, one for each form of the Goddess. Books 1–3 came as Set 1 (₹500). Books 7–9 arrive one at a time, and the remaining goddesses' stories are already in the works.
